I’d heard of spirit dolls, they have been all the rave since the new “Annebelle” and “Child’s Play” movies, everyone wants one because they want to see what happens! They want the thrill ride, to actually see if they’ll get an active spirit, or any at all.
The truth is, I didn’t believe any of it…
Until I went to a garage sale and a strange woman offered me a doll for free out of absolutely nowhere. Now I love dolls, not only because i’m a collector, but because they allow me to reminisce about wanting to be a mother when I was a little girl. They just make you smile when you hold them.
The woman said to me “Here just take her and get her out of here! There’s something about that doll that I don’t like!” Two other dolls came with the “bad doll”. I just laughed and thought she was nuts. How could a doll be bad? I put it in the car, put her in my room and didn’t think about her again for a few days. Then I was browsing ebay, just for fun, and saw all these sellers saying “Haunted doll, active spirit, spirtbox tested”. So I thought those are so fake! I figured, I’ve got three dolls here, why not just have some fun and do a spiritbox test, it wouldn’t hurt!
I keep holy water everywhere, I’m Christian, so I had some by me, I always bless new things as they arrive into the home, if second hand, to serve us well. I started the spirit box session…
I let the spiritbox go and I picked up the “bad doll”. I held her in My lap, I asked “What’s your name”, “Charlotte” replied the box. “Ok I’m going to bless you now” I said as I put some holy water on my fingers and put them to the dolls head. Just then, I hear this terrible growling noise from the spirit box! Then believe it or not, I hear a voice, angry, clear as a bell, “BURNS HEAD!” comes through, needless to say, I stopped the session right there… took the doll and left it in my bedroom.
She’d stayed there for about two weeks, then I’d tried one last spiritbox session. The same doll said one word “Threat!”, that was all after that…
The weekend came around, Sunday night, my partner and I had gotten into a terrible, terrible fight. A few moments later, I came into our bedroom and I had said in a very sinister voice as if I was being “puppeteered” by something, “I’m going to kill you!” I said, my partner freaked out!
I had sat on a chair and spoken as if I was unhinged. I apparently was saying terrible things that were so bad that it had my partner terribly scared! I then went into the kitchen and downed some kind of pills, my partner had managed to smack most out of my mouth. The police, fire department and an ambulance were called at the scene. I was pinned down to a stretcher, and taken to the emergency room, put on suicide watch for 24 hours. The “bad doll” had indeed, been bad, it had possessed me…
It was thrown into the trash bin for the trash collection the next day. When I was cleared the next day to come home from the hospital, the doll was gone.
